IRC Bear Camp

Hello wonderful IRC volunteers! I have a special invitation for you:

The last event in our summer activity series for the youth is fast approaching – Bear Camp, a week-long mountain bike camp beginning August 10. The camp is full and the kids are anxiously waiting. The mountain bikers who put on the camp for us have organized a fundraiser on Tuesday, August 4 at the Boise Fry Company, (111 Broadway, in the little strip mall at the intersection of Broadway and Warm Springs.) They will donate 20% of all sales from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. to Bear Camp. The funds will help to buy parts to fix bikes and make sure each camper has a bike in good working order, to make sure each camper has a water bottle, bike helmet and lock, and to provide snacks each day.

There will be live music and a video of last summer’s Bear Camp. I hear the food is delicious!

Please join us for dinner next Tuesday evening at the Boise Fry Company and help support our IRC youth program!

Thank you,
Ellen
