STORY TIME!! at The IRC starts Monday!!!

The program, Reading Together:

A Story time for New Americans and English Language Learners will be offered at the at the IRC office, this fall! Offered in simple English, the Reading Together story times are perfect for 3-5 year olds and their parents, caregivers and for volunteers working with families. Presenters will read picture books, and participants will share in the experience through music, crafts, and imaginative play. Fliers are being handed out to families with little children! Story time will be Mondays at 1:30pm September 21 – October 26. We hope to see you there with your families! Each session will last 30-45 minutes!

At the Boise Library..................

For adults:
Boise Public Library is excited to offer an Adult New Reader Collection, providing materials for adults learning to read in the English language. The collection, located on the 1st floor of the Main Library near the large print books, includes both fiction and nonfiction items at reading levels appropriate for beginning readers. Some examples are:
* Workplace topics
* Stories
* Items including Audio CDs, allowing the user to read along while listening.
* Several bilingual picture dictionaries
* Life skill topics including studying for a driver's license and becoming a U.S. citizen.

September 19 – October 24 This is great, as it's on a Saturday!
