Help Wanted

is especially in need of several types of volunteers right now!

• Adminstrative Volunteers - those persons interested in help in the office with answering phones, simple accounting tasks, assisting case managers with file documents and assisting with shopping and apartment set-up for newling arriving refugees.

• Women's Program Volunteers - works directly with refugee women, under the guidance of the staff coordinator. Tutors with English skills, vocabulary, basic monetary concepts, hygene, etc to help in the resettlement process.

• Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Volunteers - assists with basic income tax preparation (training provided in January) with certified IRS oversight beginning in early February.
